US Neighborhoods (3155): greenness measures and social variables (shapefile, GeoJSON, and TopoJSON formats)
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
Neighborhood boundaries (3155) in 38 large US cities, from Zillow.com, Los Angeles Times, and City of Denver; with attribute data including (1) measures of "distance-to-green" and "distance-to-unpavedness" at neighborhood scale developed for the City Nature project; (2) selected variables from the 2010 US Census. Made available in shapefile, GeoJSON and TopoJSON formats.
This data has also been used to create KML polygons and centroids used in Google Fusion Tables and visualized in web maps for the City Nature web site (http://citynature.stanford.edu/).
