Unconventional housing, unprecedented amounts of fear challenge Bay Area census efforts
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
- National changes to the 2020 census, such as response forms going online, cuts to the Census Bureau budget, and the possible addition of a citizenship question, complicate efforts to count California's Bay Area. Locally, census officials must contend with challenges to enumerate many Bay Area residents who live in unconventional housing and/or are immigrants.
