Abstract
In this work, we present several applications of optimization to medical imaging. These applications include image fusion, estimation of the attenuation coefficient with Optical Coherence Tomography, and image quantitation with Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Additionally, we present the Adaptive Bounding Algorithm, a new optimization algorithm based on subgradient descent.
