U2.12 Spahr 2017 ReNUWIt Annual Meeting Poster
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
- Selecting the most appropriate green, gray, and / or hybrid infrastructure for stormwater treatment and conveyance can prove challenging to decision makers across a range of scales, from site managers to large municipalities. To help streamline the selection process, a multi-disciplinary team of academics and professionals is developing an industry standard for selecting and evaluating the most appropriate gray, green or hybrid management infrastructure options in different regions. As the team develops the technical components of the tool, efforts to understand the end user and cater outputs for individuals making the infrastructure selection decision are underway. Careful consideration is being given to translating the results of the technical analysis into a format that is understood by decision makers with different backgrounds. Initial stakeholder input is being solicited from a project Science Advisory Board (SAB) through bi-weekly surveys.
