- Duke Q. Manor was a photo-journalist who shot images in monochrome and color for automotive enthusiasts magazines. He covered Can-Am, Trans-Am, and other sanctioned races between 1963 and 1972. From 1963 until 1967 Manor worked on the West Coast at races like Riverside and Laguna Seca, but in 1967 he had moved his operations to the East Coast, and was taking photographs at tracks like Bridgehampton and Daytona Beach. His work with high speed color film is noteworthy. He was hired at Competition Press in 1964 as Advertising Director.
