Abstract
This thesis deals with mathematical problems arising in plasma physics such as the issues of existence of solutions to equations such as Boltzmann, Landau and Vlasov--Poisson--Landau equations. The problem of global existence and behavior of solutions near special solutions such as vacuum and Maxwellians are also considered.
