Abstract
In DSC #19: Shelley and the Bad Corpus, Quinn Dombrowski talks with corpus linguist Shelley Staples about how to put together a text corpus, and how to know if it's "good" for your research question. After several months of being stuck, Quinn tries to put the advice into practice by looking for pizza in Newbery Medal winners and nominees.
