Abstract
Selecting the most appropriate green, gray, and / or hybrid infrastructure for stormwater treatment and conveyance can prove challenging to decision makers across a range of scales. To help streamline the selection process, a multi- disciplinary team of academics and professionals is developing an industry standard for selecting and evaluating the most appropriate gray, green or hybrid management infrastructure options in different regions. This tool, called i-DST, will include a co-benefit analysis that evaluates which ancillary social and environmental benefits a practitioner can expect to realize with the installation of different stormwater management technologies. This poster presents the results of a survey administered via Qualtrics to residents of Denver, CO; Seattle, WA; and Philadelphia, PA to evaluate public opinions regarding preference for green vs. grey infrastructure and a suite of co-benefits.
