The Federal Role in Watershed Scale Drought Resilience
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
- Water stakeholders and federal officials proposed new ideas to shape the federal government’s role in drought resilience during an interagency White House symposium held in Washington, D.C. Stanford water law experts Buzz Thompson and Leon Szeptycki were invited to produce discussion papers framing dialogue at the event. This paper outlines strategies and programs for developing drought resilience on a watershed scale, and the federal government’s role in coordinating the numerous government agencies that have a role in managing and providing water.
