E3.02 McCurry 2016 ReNUWIt Annual Meeting Poster
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
- Medium pressure UV lamps are more effective than the more commonly used low pressure lamps for nitrosamine and nitrosamine precursor control during wastewater recycling. Application of preformed monochloramine can reduce nitrosamine formation, but its effectiveness is dependent on background ammonia concentrations.
