Abstract
This report details a method for deliverability prediction for gas wells with turbulence. The method provides a way to easily predict an accurate flowrate at any reservoir condition. The past work on this subject is outlined, from Fancher et al's work on fluid flow to Ramey's presentation of the concept of the rate dependent skin. From the basis of the rate dependent skin, the Forscheimer, equation and the empirical gas flow equation are combined to give an equation which will allow the generation of a deliverability curve from two back pressure tests. Through the use of a computer program the procedure becomes extremely simple to use. This report outlines that program and explains exactly how it is used and the results it will give. Included in the Appendices are the listings of programs which allow this procedure to be executed on a large computer with Fortran capabilities and on the SR52 and HP67 'hand held' computers.
