Diverso: Make learning relevant for all students
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
- Teachers want to know how they can better serve their culturally and linguistically diverse students. Diverso supports teachers in this pursuit by leveraging the power of just-in time instruction. A teacher’s real need provides the vehicle upon which culturally relevant theory and strategies are delivered at the moment they are most needed. In a friendly, chat-driven interface, teachers describe their everyday challenges and receive powerful theory and practices in return. Along the way, they build a critical understanding of how culture shapes learning and teaching.
