Hope among the ashes
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
- This project is an in-depth feature on the series of murals that are located amidst the ruins in Paradise, CA by LA-based artist Shane Grammer. It incorporates a long form narrative article of about 2,300 words, two 360 videos, and several 3D scans of the murals using photogrammetry and drone technology. Although Shane Grammer has received quite a lot of media attention, the 3D photogrammetry shows the murals as they appear surrounded by destruction, a new way of diving in to the story with an approach that uniquely allows viewers to experience the murals and their settings.
