Note Turk Murphy's Jazz Band on the nationally-televised Ed Sullivan program. A rare example of bass sax being used as the bass instrument in the Murphy Band. Additional rarities in this clip are a rare on-camera appearance by cornetist Bob Short (who also played tuba in the band for many years) and a fairly lengthy drum solo featuring Thad Vandon.
