- Sue Merriman, a founding member of Aurora, describes her background in feminist activism in Bend, Oregon, adjusting to the collective process of Aurora, and recruiting new women to join the paper. She discusses the differences between her and her peers’ thoughts on feminism and the campus perception of Aurora in its early years. Merriman also speaks about the debate on whether men should be allowed in collective spaces like Aurora, the value of being in a women’s group, and her career following her time at Aurora.
