- Abstract
- A survey of current research in AI. The topics covered will vary from year to year. Examples of current research topics are machine learning and discovery, speech or image or language understanding, automatic programming, formal reasoning, nonmonotonic logic, game playing, intelligent computer assisted instruction, knowledge representation and expert systems. The course often involves distinguished outside lecturers who are specialists in these research topics.
