- Includes minutes from meetings of February through May, 1919. Three ideas were proposed: a fountain, a memorial hall, and a memorial fund; a memorial hall was the final choice. The Committee of Fifty, first called the War Service Memorial Committee, was charged with raising funds for a permanent memorial to the service and sacrifices of Stanford in the First World War.
