Abstract

There are two datasets here, both involving Uzbek grammaticality judgments for different types of sluicing-like constructions and cleft sentences.

The survey file (SLC-cleft) records the responses 12 of 14 total participants. 10 of the 12 listed speakers were located in Uzbekistan at the time of data collection. Note the co-variation w.r.t. accusative case marking on pivots of copular and cleft sentences, as well as remnants of sluicing-like constructions.

The file called "clefts" records the judgments of one speaker only.
