- Diane Tate (AB History, 1990) shares memories of her freshman dorm experience at Florence Moore Hall, reporting for The Stanford Daily, and converting to Christianity and joining the Presbyterian campus group Cornerstone. She also discusses history courses and her thesis on Black women and education, the Structured Liberal Education Program (SLE), and her involvement with the Haas School of Public Service, especially the You Can Make a Difference Conference. Additional topics include the ASSU’s Stanford Lecture Notes business, the Undergraduate Scholars Program with the Graduate School of Education, her work in venture capital and the tech industry, and the multitude of opportunities available at Stanford.
