Abstract
(Recorded over 3 tapes) Audio Files 1-6: Interview with William Saroyan at his home near Fresno, California by William Childress for Smithsonian Magazine, in which they discuss his career and personal life. Discussions begin during car ride with Saroyan and Archie Minasian, also passenger in car. Some conversations in car appear off-record. These conversations were recorded over previous identified interviews, which occasionally bleed through the audio.
