Abstract: This point dataset shows shows information pertaining to oil and gas fields in the United States. This layer includes data for fall quarter 2012.
Purpose: This dataset is intended to assist users in locating and analyzing United States oil and gas field data and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data.
