Abstract

El rebote del inframundo, the underworld bouncer, is a sentimental device. A ceremonial sonic video installation, a subwoofer bounce low-frequency sound that shakes the viewer, the light above draws a simulated Cenote, a cavern filled with water that in Mayan cosmovision serves as the entrance to the underworld, the world of the nonliving.
