Interview with Marian Eleanore Moe : Alumni Stories
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
- Marian Eleanore Moe (AB History, AB German, 1972) describes being politically active on campus. She recalls participating in sit-ins as well as forming the Cooperative House, Columbae, with a group of like-minded individuals. Moe tells the story of the hearings and firing of tenured professor Bruce Franklin, as well as her experience studying abroad with graduate students in Germany as a sophomore. Finally, she discusses life after Stanford and how her political conscience, cultivated at Stanford, has influenced her career as a lawyer.
