Abstract
This report presents a way of simulating the flow of foam in an areal micromodel. A FORTRAN program is written which simulates foam flow by assuming that the bubbles flow through the flow routes which require the minimum pressure for the flow to occur. The flow behavior of foam in different displacement processes is discussed. The change of mobility to different phases during the displacement process 16 examined and an optimum way of displacement in order to decrease the mobility to gas phase is suggested. The effect of bubble size on the flow behavior of foam is also studied.
