U1.02 Lee 2014 ReNUWIt Annual Meeting Poster
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
This project creates a novel package of water-wastewater-energy modeling tools for planning at the local level. The goal of the research is to:
- Develop software tools for integrated water-energy management modeling for conceptual design of low-cost and energy-efficient water reuse systems at a local scale.
- Provide output for regional-scale models: Availability and marginal cost of treated wastewater for reuse - a function of the type of treatment, scale, and demand for treated water of different qualities.
- “Ground truth” the logic of the tools developed through collaborative interactions with staff utilities personnel and case studies (Stanford utilities, City of Palo Alto, City of Bellingham, City of Golden).
