- Letters to Prof. William R. Dudley of Stanford University pertaining to the creation of Pinnacles National Monument in San Benito County, California; and photographs of the area. Correspondents include local residents S. C. Hain and L. W. Jefferson, Congressman James C. Needham, Senator George C. Perkins, J. H. Fimple of the Dept. of the Interior, and Gifford Pinchot. The photographs were possibly taken by L. W. Jefferson and are annotated.
