- Recordings of speakers on day 1 of the Black Panther Party 47th Anniversary Celebration, held at the Arlene Francis Center in Santa Rosa, California. The full program took place October 17th–19th, 2013, and was organized by Elbert "Big Man" Howard, who speaks at the beginning of the event. Recordings span eight video files. Video file 1: Howard's introduction. Video files 2-3: Rickey Vincent, author of "Party Music: The Inside Story of the Black Panthers' Band and How Black Power Transformed Soul Music," speaks. Video files 4-5: James Mott and Clark Bailey, members of the Lumpen (a singing group based in the Black Panther Party) speak. Video files 5-8: Billy X Jennings, Black Panther Party historian and archivist, speaks.
