Abstract
Natalie Longmire-Kulis dedicated her capstone project to examining the judicial system in Pakistan, specifically looking at the current status of the Pakistani judiciary and its interaction with the military and civilians. Through first-person interviews with members of the Pakistani judicial system, such as members of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Natalie studied how judicial systems and processes play a central role in either ensuring or inhibiting the ability to achieve justice and preserve fundamental human dignities. She hopes that her research paper will form the basis for further work and collaboration with judges and lawyers serving in the Pakistani judiciary and subsequently identify potential areas of reform or growth moving forward.
