Electric Mobility Norway
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
- Team EMN was tasked with the following question: how can a product make a commuter’s journey seamless? Electric Mobility Norway is a company that wants to cut down on carbon emissions and encourage its users to commute to their jobs in the most energy efficient way. The team developed the e-Modul, a device that can be placed on an electric bike and charge it while riding an electric train. The bike can be easily integrated with the layout of existing electric trains that are a part of daily life in Norway. The e-Modul also gives a read out of which seats are available on the train and the best routes to take from the train. This integration of bike and train allows users to commute independently of gas powered vehicles.
