Interview with Robert S. Wolf : The Movement Oral History Project
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
- Robert Wolf (1974 PhD, Mathematics), who came to Stanford as a graduate student in 1966, describes his draft counseling activities at the Midpeninsula Free University and at the draft co-op operated by the Resistance. He recalls being “a dabbler” in other happenings during the time, including working on the underground newspaper The Grapevine, protesting Hubert Humphrey’s visit to campus, and being tried before the judicial council for his presence at sit-ins. Wolf also speaks about his anti-nuclear activism in San Luis Obispo, California, where he was on the faculty at California Polytechnic State University.
