In northern California settlements along the Susan river are shown; there is a new delination of Honey Lake and a westward placement of several lakes along the California - Nevada border. There is later edition of this map which I have that was issued in a pamphlet; and the map was used, with the deletion of Goddard's name, as an illustration for several books and pamplets ( see, George, Henry; Hittel, John S.; Immigration Association of California). It was also used as the base for the "Viticulture Map of the State of California," issued by the Committee on Phylloxera, etc, 1880. |
