- Abstract
- Cecilia Mowatt (AB Sociology, AB Spanish Literature, 1982) states that by making others comfortable, she begins to feel comfortable, and she followed that philosophy at Stanford. She describes being the treasurer of her dorm Branner, serving in the Associated Students of Stanford University (ASSU), participating in cultural organizations, and advocating for LGBTQ+ rights. Mowatt also tells stories of her sorority, Pi Beta Phi, studying abroad in Salamanca, Spain, and “The Play” in a football game against UC Berkeley.
