- In this recording, local historian (and nearby resident) Steve Staiger discusses the long and interesting history of the Alpine Inn, from the days of the early Californios through numerous changes in ownership and name changes that range from Stanton’s Saloon to the Wunder Inn; to some of the more familiar names, including Rossotti’s, Zott’s, and the Alpine Inn.
