Water in the West Reports and Working Papers
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
- Water in the West is a partnership of The Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment and the Bill Lane Center for the American West and includes faculty, staff and students from the natural, physical and social sciences, law, business and humanities who engage in interdisciplinary research and teaching about freshwater. The mission of Water in the West is to design, articulate, and advance sustainable water management for the people and environment of the American West. We pursue our mission and vision for a sustainable water future through cutting-edge research, creative problem solving, active collaboration with decision makers and opinion leaders, effective public communications, and hands-on education of students (the “next generation” of problem solvers). We thus work to achieve more effective water management for both today and the future.
