- Abstract
- Television has transitioned from a shared experience to a more individual experience. With CommuniTV, users can share their television experience across various platforms. A CommuniTV user can use a tablet or mobile device to access their content which has been recommended to them based on their preferences. Users can create an avatar, a Buddee, to review, share and comment on their viewing history and the history of others. Friends can also compete against each other buy earning badges after watching more content. CommuniTv can help users to feel like they are watching TV with their friends even when they are miles away.
