- Leah Goodman (BS Physics, BA English 2002) speaks about living in Rinconada, organizing Flicks, and unleashing “primal screams” during Dead Week. Goodman details her involvement with the dance community on campus, including taking Social Dance with Richard Powers, as well as dancing at Jammix, Big Dance, and the Viennese Ball. She describes her experience studying Physics and English and recalls her favorite classes taught by Doug Osheroff, Jennifer Summit, and Patricia Burchat. Goodman remarks on her subsequent career as a lawyer and as a local politician in her hometown, Warrenville, Illinois.

| Biographical Profile | Leah Goodman graduated Stanford in the Class of '02 with a B.S. in Physics and a B.A. in English. She went on to law school at the University of Michigan, JD Class of '05, and then returned to her hometown of Warrenville, Illinois, to live. Leah spent much of the next 18 years practicing law and serving in local government. Her legal practice involves representing small and medium-sized businesses and startups, helping entrepreneurs and companies with their contracts and providing other legal services. In 2014, Leah married Nicholas Graf, who now works in data science. Nick and Leah continue to live in Warrenville, Illinois. |
