- This polygon dataset contains information that defines the Federal lease blocks for the Gulf of Mexico OCS Region. This layer is from the summer quarter update of 2014.
- Purpose
- This layer is intended to assist users in locating and analyzing information on the Gulf of Mexico's offshore lease blocks and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data.
