- Collection consists of two carbon typescripts, originally in the possession of Lou Henry Hoover's secretary, Edith Harcourt. "Off-the-Record talk to Stanford University faculty," April 11, 1938, is 29 pages long and covers the political and economic conditions in Western Europe focusing on Germany and the Nazis, with questions from the faculty and Hoover's answers. "Off the Record Talk to Stanford University," November 8, 1940, is 16 pages long and consists of his answers to questions from students regarding economic policies, the Hoover Library, foreign relations, and European relief.
