- Justine Modica, a PhD candidate in history at Stanford, discusses her experience attending the Women’s March in San Francisco. Modica recalls being inspired by the politically active undergraduate students in her classes in the weeks before and after the election. She describes chants from the march, responds to critiques of the march and describes how she has been staying politically active since that time. Modica’s academic interests include the history of reproductive rights in the United States.
