Shakespeare through Performance
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
The Browser is an interactive visual database linked with textual information about Theater History and Shakespearean productions. The sequences of images are organized in "learning paths" accessed via a main Browser menu.
Students in drama and theater history are the intended users. The Browser allows easy access to a visual database of slides and offers corresponding textual information on each image. Students can branch from path to path while a history of their movements are kept, so that they may return to previous paths later. An automatic "slide-show" feature is provided for quick browsing through the path of images.
