- Audio File 1: Louis family history. Young Louis (Wong Young Louis) interviewed and discusses his father Ah Louis' (Wong On) herbalist store in Chinatown, involvement with Southern Pacific Railway and dangerous tunnel work for Chinese workers, and how the Chinese cemetary in San Luis Obispo is now the Chumash Mobile Home Park. Audio File 2: H. K. Wong comments on the April 1, 1979 ceremony honoring the Louises by San Luis Obispo; recordings of various citations in honor of the Louises; additional commentary by Young Louis about the family's gardens, his interest in creating parade floats, stage backgrounds and lighting, window displays, and restaurant business. Recording cuts-off at end.
