- This point shapefile represents active and closed solid waste facilities or landfills in San Mateo County. Source: Information from San Mateo County compiled from a variety of sources, all assumed to be the most recent available data. Source Date: 2015 Updates: Removed duplicate data in the San Mateo Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment (December 2016). Relocated point for Half Moon Bay Landfill to erosion zone and removed closed Mussel Rock transfer station (January 24, 2017). This layer is part of the San Mateo County Sea Level Rise Vulnerability Assessment Project.
