- Audio Files 1 & 2: H. K. Wong interviews Moon Lee (Moon Lim Lee, born July 21, 1903) in Weaverville, California, former California State Highway Commissioner for Governor Reagan. Discusses his father Lim Sue Kin ("Sam Lee"), the Joss House (Won Lim Miu temple) and Chinese New Year "Bomb Day" celebrations, father's mining and family's ranching and restaurant work in Trinity county. Anecdotes about gold mining and the Chinese in Shasta and Trinity counties. Wife Dorothy Lee occasionally heard in background. Recording cuts-off at end.
