Margo Horn : Interview for Stanford Community Women's March Oral History Project
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
- Margo Horn, a lecturer in history at Stanford, recounts her experience attending the Women’s March in Washington, DC. Horn recalls participating in civil rights, anti-war, and abortion rights protests in the past and how the 2016 election spurred her to protest once again. Horn attended the march with other Stanford participants and recalls how inspiring it was to see so many generations marching together. She also describes the impact of the speakers at the march, specifically filmmaker Michael Moore who told marchers to call Congress every day. Horn, who has been at Stanford since 1984, specializes in United States women’s history and history of medicine.
