2014 Targa Sixty-Six Videos
Abstract/Contents
- Abstract
Race car drivers can offer insights into vehicle control at the limits of handling. These videos are part of a collection from the Revs Program at Stanford that provides open access to data from expert drivers under real racing conditions with the aim to facilitate analysis of vehicle control under extreme operating conditions.
This item contains video from a 1965 Ferrari 250 LM driven during the 2014 Targa Sixty-Six at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida. The car was driven during six race sessions over two days, each with up to three separate outings. Each outing has up to four video files from various viewing angles (e.g. front, rear, driver, nose).
Video files are located on this PURL page and can be downloaded by clicking on the download icon at the bottom of the video embed window. The data files associated with this item can be found at https://purl.stanford.edu/hd122pw0365.
The file names follow the convention 'date_session_outing_driver_vehicle'.
