MorphoGraphX Tutorial 1: Set-Up and Controls

Abstract/Contents

Abstract: MorphoGraphX is an open-source image processing software designed to work with complex tissue. It allows for analysis of 3D stacks as well as time-lapse analysis at a scale that can detect fluorescence signals from individual cells. Here, I built tutorials for MorphoGraphX intended to help others learn the software for use on their own research. These tutorials step through the entire process of MorphoGraphX data analysis: set up and controls, creating a cell mesh, generating a 2.5D image from the mesh, segmenting the mesh, heat maps for the mesh, stitching of time-lapse images together, parent labeling for time-lapse analysis, growth heat maps for time-lapse, and principal directions of growth (PDGs) for time-lapse.
