- Abstract
- Representation of the Magnificat, with the Virgin Mary in the center surrounded by 6 angels. Two angels are holding slate tablets with the complete five-voice setting of Cornelis Verdonck's Magnificat (altus & bassus part on left tablet; superius & tenor canon. in diapason on right tablet); these two angels are singing from the parts, while the other 4 angels are playing their parts on musical instruments (viols, flute, cornetto).
