- Description
- The Gaddiana Master (Florence, c. 1150-1175) St. John the Evangelist, (320 x 220 mm, initial: 110 x 26 mm). The partial page on vellum is attributed to the Gaddiana Master who was active in the vicinity of Florence in the mid-to late 12th century. The initial shows the influences of the geometrical style popular throughout the peninsula at that time.
