- Audio Files 1 & 2: interviews conducted May 28, 1979, July 15, 1979, and August 24, 1979 by H. K. Wong with artist and photographer Ton Wong Lee (Wong Wing Ton or Ton W. Lee) at his home together with President Dan Chu of the Chinese Historical Society, topics include Angel Island and living conditions there, his family history in Toishan (Toisan), China, growing up in San Francisco. Last interview held at Empress of China restaurant where they discuss Lee's childhood in San Francisco and the school system at the time, Chinese New Year celebrations. Recording speed uneven.
