- Abstract
- Julio Palmaz invented the Palmaz Coronary Stent, a device that changed cardiology practices and is recognized by the Smithsonian Institute in its medical device collection. Palmaz has earned more than 20 patents and was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2006.
